At our September pack meeting, our special guest was the City of Berkeley’s Chief of Police, Chief Andrew Greenwood, who spoke with the Scouts and answered many questions.

On Saturday, August 19th, we visited Marin Headlands, and hiked around Rodeo Lagoon. With this hike, the Scouts earned another patch in the Trail Trekkers series of hikes. We also visited the historic Nike Missile Site, and learned about the history of the nuclear missile sites that once surrounded the Bay Area during the Cold War.

On Saturday, July 22nd, the Scouts hiked at the Huckleberry Regional Preserve in Oakland, as part of the SFBAC Trail Trekkers series of hikes.

On Saturday, May 20th, Pack 30 hiked to Little Yosemite in Sunol Regional Wilderness. This trail is part of the Trail Trekkers program offered by the San Francisco Bay Area Council.

Our May Pack meeting was held at Live Oak Park, where the Scouts enjoyed a game of Capture the Flag as meeting activity.
