September Announcements, part 2
Hello Pack 30:
The Scout-O-Rama this Sunday 1-4PM at Camp Herms (1100 James Pl, El Cerrito, CA 94530). This is a recruiting event Pack 30 will launch rockets and meet potential Scouting families. If you haven’t been to Herms before, it’s a good day to visit.
Pack 30 Recruiting, Weldon Bradstreet could use our help staffing events at Berkeley elementary schools. If you did not have an opportunity to sign up as school liaison, please contact Weldon. Each Scout who recruits receives a Recruiter Patch.
Fall Camp Out October 14-15 at Del Valle Regional Park, 3/4 mile backpack/hike to our campground (with a limited, gear portage by Jim Brencic and his amazing boat). Hiking trail snack, dinner and breakfast are provided. If you have mobility challenges or no backpack, we can accommodate you. Sara Knight will email details.
Scouting/Cal Football Day, October 21st, game time is likely 1-2PM. It’s Homecoming and Cal is playing Arizona. Before the game, there will be an awesome Scavenger Hunt. The first team to complete will get to high five the team in the field entrance tunnel. You will also receive a patch for finishing the hunt. Please contact Eric Noe for tickets @ enoe@berkeley.edu.
Epworth Clean Up Day October 21st 9AM-1PM Scouting is service to our community. Join us for age appropriate clean upactivities. There is an awesome BBQ from Noon-1PM and patch for this service event.
Pack 30 T Shirts are available. This is our Class B uniform and they are $12 each. Adult and Youth sizes are available.
Den Meetings Every Den is meeting in October. Please check with your Den leader for time and location.
Uniform Bank Finally, if you need a uniform or have one to donate, our Uniform Bank will be at the next Pack meeting.
