On the weekend of May 4th, Pack 30 held their annual Spring Campout and Arrow of Light advancement ceremony, this time at China Camp State Park.
On Saturday, March 17th, Pack 30 held their 58th annual Pinewood Derby, racing their homemade gravity-powered cars against each other. Trophies and ribbons were awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place overall winners, 1st place for each Den, Most Like A Car, Least Like A Car, Most Scout Spirit, Best Crafstmanship, and for the winner of our Family & Friends race.

In January, we visited the East Oakland Sports Center, where the Scouts enjoyed private use of the facility while working on their Aquanauts adventure pins.
In December, Pack 30 held their Annual Holiday Potluck at Camp Herms, where the Scouts enjoyed some great homecooked food, worked on some holiday-themed crafts, and enjoyed a few songs led by our Songmaster, Michael Marx.

Pack 30 Webelos Dens 4 and 5 are invited to participate in the Webeloree, being held at Camp Herms. Two different sessions will be held, one on September 9-10 and a second on October 14-15th.
The Webeloree is a fun overnight outing for Webelos & their parents. Working with Boy Scouts, Webelos will have fun earning four adventure pins from the updated Handbook and the
Shooting Sports Award Patch (BB guns). The event is open to all 4th & 5th graders (Webelos & Arrow of Light). All Webelos & their parent/guardian will receive a custom
Webel-o-ree patch, the sports patch and pins and see the Astro Wizard!
